About

The Cool Springs Orchestra was formed as a volunteer organization to bring together

Since our organizational retreat in July 2003, we've continued to add participants. Our membership consists of those ready to serve at any given location and changes with each venue and opportunity. Over 400 people have attended our retreat, worship/concerts, and conference reading sessions, each time uses for ampicillin with a different group of players at each location. We’re a constantly changing group that serves a God who never changes.

Our participants serve as string instrumentalists in local church ministry. We come from a wide variety of educational, professional and church music backgrounds. Participants have ranged from high school students to senior adults. Each person brings unique gifts and experience that contribute to the makeup of our group. Our music reflects this diversity and includes both traditional hymns and contemporary choruses.

The name Cool Springs Symphony was chosen in response to a world in need of a refreshing and healing touch from Living Water. It is our goal to create music which asks each listener to consider what a great and wonderful God we serve, be thankful for the salvation provided through His son Jesus Christ, and praise Him for the great things he has done in our lives.

The Cool Springs Symphony seeks projects that require a dynamic and symphonic string orchestra where each instrument will play a crucial and essential part in the message of the song. Arrangements feature essential roles by each of the string instruments and several feature soloists within the group.

We continually seek and add new events where we can serve together, strengthen, and encourage the fellowship of Christian string players. Our group applied for nonprofit status in December 2006 and is anticipating approval in May 2007. Worship locations continue to be added and we are considering a missions tour outside the United States for the future.
